For this project, we were asked to design and manufacture oak and wrought iron stair and gallery balustrade, based on a picture from our client. Part of the brief was that the balustrade must not contain newel posts. We have designed continuous oak handrail with up ramp/ mitres (no newel posts). Two volutes on the ground to 1st floor stair with one volute on the basement to ground floor stair. Same design oak handrail was fitted to the outside of the stairs, attached with brackets.
